Hopefully everyone got through the Labor Day holiday in one piece! The McBidz site continues to see a steady increase in new “hits” and page views from all over the country due to our advertising both on TV and through our social networking activities.
Our next TV blitz will be for two weeks starting September 21’st in Southern California and will be focused on CNN, Fox News, and Monday night ESPN football which has a huge audience. We also continue to run our ESPN Monday night football slots here in the Southeast as well to keep a presence.
It was recently reported that Facebook, one of our key competitors, has an audience greater than the entire USA population and we are looking to convert those members to see the benefits of McBidz. So be sure to spread the BUZZ and DIGG us when you get a chance www.digg.com!

Well, another holiday weekend is upon us and I wanted to drop in and say have a FUN and SAFE Labor Day to our member McBidzers! As usual I will be at the beach with family partaking in BBQ, beverages, and trying to get some sun.
On the business side McBidz will be wrapping up our TV advertising blitz in the Southeast today, but will continue with Monday night football on ESPN and launch a new TV advertising campaign in California as of Sept. 14′th. Our social networking numbers & McBidz membership continue to swell so our viral networking and TV spot are doing the job of brand recognition!
My partner in crime “Krishna”, our senior programmer who has been working with me for several years now getting McBidz up and running has married and we would like to welcome her to the McBidz family. Everyone have a great Labor Day!

As discussed previously in the blog post McBidz is taking our TV ad to California where many high tech companies, websites, and interest in them are situated. Our focus area at first will be around the popular “Silicon Valley” Palo Alto area which is home to some of our established competition. Brand awareness is our biggest hurdle right now, if possible members don’t know about us they can’t enjoy the many benefits of the McBidz website.
We are going to ramp up advertising in California starting on the first regular season Monday night football slot between the Chargers and Raiders Sept. 14 and follow up with a two week schedule starting Sept. 21st. Most of the channels we have now running in the Southeast will be present along with Fox News which is very popular out West. McBidz intends to keep a presence in the Southeast as well running ESPN Monday night football slots through regular season games. We look forward to bringing the McBidz experience to the home of high tech!
