“Neda” video, Mobile Charging for sale, & TV ad finalized.

June 23rd, 2009

This week while looking through our video sharing section “McVidz” I came across a video that one of our members had downloaded out of Iran about a woman “Neda” who was murdered by the Iran police force. For some reason a sniper had decided to shoot this peaceful protestor in the chest while standing on the sidewalk. Though graphic, I felt it should be kept up on our site to show the public what is really happening over there and how Iran is treating its own people. I wanted to make sure this video was viral and purchased the rights to www.nedavideo.com and www.nedamartyr.com to make sure anyone searching for this could find it so this young lady ‘Neda” wouldn’t be forgotten. Just as a warning this video contains adult content and is very graphic.

We have placed an ad back up on the eBay classified section to get the word out about the sale of our subsidiary Mobile Charging, Inc. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270414209472  . Our hope is of course a well funded green company or group of investors will see the enormous potential of Mobile Charging and run with it. While a great idea/plan we have our hands full with the launch of the McBidz mega site.

Today I have gone down and met once again with the producer of a local news station who is helping us put together a TV ad we plan to use on a regional level to get the word out about McBidz. The script was finalized and the images are being put to film at this time. I’m hoping to see something this week of the final project. Stay tuned!

Happy Father’s Day & Progress on TV Ad.

June 21st, 2009

Happy Father’s Day to all of our McBidzers out there! Have a SAFE & FUN day today! We are making great progress on our regional TV spot we are putting together with the help of a local news station. We have the script in hand and the updates are finished. Going into next week we are going to put a couple video images to go with the script and we should be ready to start publishing the spot on local and regional TV going into July! Getting the word out (and the great benefits) about McBidz is our goal and we feel this TV ad will be a great step in the right direction. I will update you as we progress and post the TV spot on McVidz http://www.mcbidz.com/mcvidz  once we have it in hand!

Businessweek article by Jack Welch and update on TV infomercial.

June 11th, 2009

While reading through the current edition of Businessweek I noticed an article at the back from Jack Welch retired CEO of (GE) General Electric. This article was on Twitter and why Jack and Suzy Welch enjoy it so much. This had me thinking if they have heard of our newly launched www.McBidz.com website which had been made for the public to accomplish their entire online task in one place on the internet? So I decided to write in to the Welch’s new blog “Welch way” and to my surprise got a response back from the Welch Way manager Megan Burke. Megan requested more information on the new McBidz and we exchanged correspondence on what McBidz was about and our goals for the future.  To read more about Jack Welch you can go here to his biography on the Welch way blog http://www.welchway.com/About-Us/Jack-Welch/Biography.aspx .

We should have a rough draft of our planned TV infomercial here within the next several days. Working with a local news station experienced in this format we have high hopes of getting the word out to a broader audience about McBidz starting with the Southeast and working our way around the USA. Stay tuned for updates on this!

Infomercial in the works for McBidz.

June 2nd, 2009

McBidzers I have been in talks with a local media station to work with us to develop a short infomercial outlining the benefits & advantages of the McBidz website. We strongly feel once the general public is informed of our existence they will become a part of our family. To this end we will be working on the script and layout of the infomercial in the coming weeks and start running the spot on a regional basis once finished. Stay tuned for more details in upcoming blog post!
