While we were running the promo in Atlanta, Ga. McBidz had a similar promotion running on our launch day in New York. This promotion was fairly large and encompassed most of the area in and around New York’s Time Square. We had prepared for this promotion about a month out to give us plenty of time for our Team leader “Annie” to receive all the promotional materials and gather her team together. About a week before the promo they started scouting the area in which to hang posters and give out flyers. McBidz plans to do several more promotions in and around the New York area this year due to the great feedback we received there.

We left out of Charleston, SC pretty early to get to Atlanta, Ga to hook up with the rest of our street team by around noon on our launch day April 7. When we reached Atlanta the crowds were pretty thin driving around the “Underground” and Peachtree Street. Once we did get the street promotion started we had a pretty good amount of traffic even though it started snowing in the area. This was the first time our mascot “Chuckster” was introduced to the public and he was a huge hit. People blocks away were running over to get their picture taking with him and find out what all the commotion was about. Our team handed out about 1,000 flyers to get the BUZZ started on McBidz.
