This morning we have submitted a new Press Release http://www.eworldwire.com/pressrelease/19258 . The main focus of the release is the McBidz 2010 goal of 5 million member “McBidzers” and the upcoming “Chuckster Tour”.
Going into the new week we have arranged for our promo materials we will be using on launch day to be made and delivered within a month or so. This will give us time to make the jaunts to neighboring states focusing on creating some BUZZ before starting the Chuckster Tour. Our street teams both in SC and NY are now in place and we all anxiously wait for our mascot to be delivered. The idea is once the tour starts we will put the countdown clock on the splash page, set it for 45 days and launch the site at that time. Mobilecharging.com information we will place last as we continue to add features when we think of them to McBidz. Just yesterday we added a FREE ad placement for signing up on both the “Autos” and “Real Estate” sections of McBidz.

A very Merry Christmas to all of our McBidzers out there this Christmas Eve. We are getting very close to finalizing points for the launch of McBidz.
A couple of items we have accomplished this week.
- We have hired a “Chuckster” representative to fill our mascot position.
- Our flyer which will be distributed up and down the East Coast for the “Chuckster Tour” is finalized.
- Testing and layout is now wrapped on the McBidz site.
Our mascot uniform is about half way finished now and we expect it to be shipped and ready by mid January. As mentioned we will take most of January for appearances in surrounding states before ramping up for the main tour up and down the East Coast. We have changed the splash page to reflect the impending launch of McBidz and you will see a flurry of activity once we have the mascot uniform. We will post several pictures each week as we get “Chuckster” out and about introducing him to the public.
Stay safe and have a Merry Christmas!

Our team leader and I have been busy working together this past week cleaning up little blemishes on the McBidz site and creating text for our www.Mobilecharging.com website. On McBidz we have been removing our test post, updating simple layout design, and have added a section in the McBidzers forum http://www.mcbidz.com/mcbidzers/forums.php for any bug reporting you may find after we launch. While we have pretty thoroughly tested our site once we have a couple hundred thousand McBidzers running around here you never know what might pop up. Be assured over the course of the last several years we have acquired seasoned programmers who know this site back and forth and any errors that might pop up will be ironed out immediately. McBidz will be ready to roll once we have “Chuckster” and a small team ready to move forward with the Chuckster Tour. We will deploy “Chuckster” to check out “Buzz” in SC, NC, and GA before actually moving forward with the Chuckster Tour at which time we will go from Florida up towards New York-Times Square hitting all the hot spots along the way. Once the tour starts the splash page clock will be set to 45 days after which time McBidz will officially launch to the public.
Our Mobile Charging site continues to progress in form as it will be an information only site until we have our chargers fully developed and ready for the introduction of the Electric Vehicle (EV) going into 2010. We have placed a banner ad for our sister site on the business section of McBidz so you can find out more about the company. Mobilecharging.com will go live and be available for you to check out before McBidz goes into launch.

On a side note this past week while looking over security options in our chosen payment module Paypal we discovered a way for not only our company, but your personal paypal accounts as well to be guarded against intrusion even if someone gets your security passwords. They have a security feature available called the Paypal Security Key which sends you an automatic code every time you log into your account either free to your cell through text message or a “token” which cost $5.00. This feature virtually eliminates any possible intrusion into your account even if the security passwords are compromised which is unheard of for a payment system as we have looked into them all while developing McBidz. I strongly suggest anyone with a Paypal account use this free service for your accounts.

As promised we have some pics of the very early production of “Chuckster” our beloved McBidz mascot. Doesn’t look like much now, but you will be amazed when you see the final result. Chuckster will be our guerilla advertising star as the months approach for the launch of McBidz. The Chuckster Tour will encompass most of the East Coast from Florida all the way up to New York our target city for the launch day guerilla campaign.

McBidz-”The city within itself” tagline can be contributed to our team leader who has been working with me since McBidz was first launched. Several weeks ago while we were discussing possible taglines to be included in press releases and flyers we will distribute on the “Chuckster Tour” he came up with this. Since our focus with the new McBidz was for our member “McBidzers” to be able to accomplish everything they do online in one place (whether business or personal) this seemed perfect.
Our designer who is working on production of our “Chuckster” mascot uniform has promised pictures as assembly progresses so you can expect these on future post here at the McBidz blog. Her work is really first class and we are looking forward to the finished product. We will have more on the “Chuckster Tour” in future post here on the blog as the mascot costume nears completion.

This is the title of our current press release above. A little back-story is needed with this as I’m sure this may be a little puzzling. For the last month while watching various news channels and listening to the radio we all have been inundated with request from corporate America to be bailed out by our tax dollars due to mismanagement of their own companies. Sure the economy is in the tank, but better management practices would have kept most, if not all of them from being in danger of insolvency. While we voted our political leaders in Washington to represent us we did not vote for them to give out money to failing companies which in all likelihood will never repay a dime.
Since every Tom, Dick and Harry is now standing in line for a bailout we figured our “McBidzers” should get a piece of the pie as well. After listening for months while standing helplessly by and watching the government bailout these nonperforming companies we feel McBidz should step forward and bring to the forefront just how pathetic this process is. Hey we are only asking for 100 million just a fraction of what the automakers (34 Billion) and bailing out the Banks (Over 700 billion) are asking. Not to mention the money would be put to better use. Here is the link to the press release or you can follow the “Newsroom” link on the left toolbar http://www.eworldwire.com/pressrelease/19187 .

As we enter the sixth month of the McBidz blog we are finally wrapping up the McBidz site after doing final testing on “McBidzers” social networking this week. Our programmers have worked tirelessly over the last year getting the new McBidz mega site ready to go for our members. Now it comes down to getting our “Chuckster” tour in place and arranging for our guerilla marketing. I expect this to take a little over two months as it’s fairly involved. Our mascot will start making the rounds in SC and NC soon after the costume is finished. We are still looking for the associate to fill these shoes so if you live in SC drop us an e-mail by using our contact page (left link).
We are still working on www.mobilecharging.com as an information based site for the plans which will be released later this month. Our partners continue working on a fast charging device which will be universal for (EV) electric vehicles in the future. This is the sticking point in the process because manufacturers still aren’t sure of the final battery design which will be used. Most electric cars out now have several different designs which we can’t spec out right now. Mobile Charging will focus on production designs as the customized configurations are too numerous to match with our chargers.
As we get more involved with the “Chuckster” tour and we ramp for launch info and pictures will be posted here. A countdown clock will still be posted on our splash page at www.McBidz.com when the final countdown starts; I expect this to be when we reach 45 days out that will be the signal.
